PUBLIC DIPLOMACY

Democracy Small Grants

The American Cultural Center of the US Embassy is now accepting applications for funding small democracy-related projects through the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program.

Applications which address the following areas are especially encouraged: youth leadership, environmental action, and empowerment of disadvantaged groups.

Applications can be accepted only from registered Romanian NGOs.

The deadline for applications is July 20, 2009. Forms and guidelines are available at this page

Applications will be reviewed and funded on a first-come first-served basis.
